I was born in Maryland but raised in the California Bay Area. Hiking and exploring along the California coast near my hometown is where I fell in love with animals and became interested in investigating the natural world around me. I received my BA in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. 

I am currently a first-year PhD student at UT Austin in the EEB program. I am interested in conservation biology, mammalogy, and the relationship between environmental change and morphological evolution.
